How to draw Bugs(Ladybird) with Adobe Illustrator? (Step by step) (Part 11)

We will continue our tutorial to draw the Ladybird's legs. First, we need to arrange the guidelines as shown below.

We need to compile guidelines along with half circle shape that we have drawn before.

We need to use Pen Tool (P) to continue drawing the Ladybird's leg. How to use it? Just go to the Tool and choose the Pen Tool (P) as shown below. Remember, you need to select/click the image that you have drawn, before you choose the tool.

At the end of the black line shape (in the red circle) you will see a small blue colored box.
Just choose the Pen Tool (P) and touch the small blue colored box and after that click the tool at the second point/spot as shown below.

You can continue the process to the other points/spots as shown below until you reach the end of it.

Let continue drawing the ladybird.

We just finished drawing Ladybird's head. What is the next step?

Now, we need to combine the body and the ladybird's head (see below).

You have to arrange the position of the body and head as drawing included above.

The position of the head should be under the body. To arrange the position, you just need to go to the Object, click it and choose Arrange and you can choose either Bring to Front etc. As you wish. But, before you click this tool, you must click the drawing first.

Now, we need to draw the ladybird's legs.

We start by drawing a circle. Then, we must select/click the circle (see below).

After that, we need to go to the Tool and choose Direct Selection Tool (A) (see below)

Use that Direct Selection Tool to click at the small box in the red circle until the white box colour change into the blue colour (the red circle does not exist and it's just for our guide).

Now, go to your computer keyboard and click Delete button. And this is the result (see below).
